教材:课程所用的教材一部分我在北京大学软件与微电子学院教授的课程”英语 0A001 – 科技英语”时使用的教材. 课程主题包括: 演讲, 概要/批判性写作, 论文写作, 分类,辩论和简历写作, 说明性写作以及针对优秀学生而特别选择的写作. 授课形式为通过互联网用Powerpoint 向学生授课 (建议使用微软的IE浏览器或者火狐浏览器)。
Materials: This course is partly based on the course curriculum used when I was teaching "English 0A001 – Technical English" at Peking University's School of Software and Microelectronics. Topics include: Public Speaking, Summary/Critical Writing, Thesis Proposal Writing, Classification, Debate and Resume Writing, and Explication, as well as others specifically selected for advanced students. The teaching medium is a PowerPoint presentation broadcast through an Internet browser (preferably Internet Explorer or Firefox).
