经济学十分的迷人有趣！我们每天都要做出来自经济方面的决定但是我们甚至都没有意识到。
Economics is fascinating and fun! We all make economic decisions on a daily basis without even realising it.

我会通过简单的日常生活中的例子来介绍一些经济学概念比如供给、需求、缺乏、机会成本和优化权衡，例如决定在超市中买什么；当你在决定未来在大学中应该主修什么时，你应该考虑哪些因素。接着我们会运用主要的经济学的原理去发现和探索经济系统如何运作，例如，理解绝对优势和比较优势的区别，还有运用相对优势原理来确定可以在个体或国家间产生互利贸易的基础，以及去确定在机会成本的差异中确定相对优势。经济学场景中具体的例子经常会被用作去解释和加强那些所包含的原理。
I introduce basic economic concepts such as supply, demand, scarcity,  opportunity costs and tradeoffs through simple daily examples  like deciding what to purchase in a supermarket, what factors you should consider when decide what major you will study in college. Then we will apply the main economic principles to explore how an economic system works, for example, understanding the distinction between absolute and comparative advantage, and apply the principle of comparative advantage to determine the basis on which mutually advantageous trade can take place between individuals and/or countries, and to identify comparative advantage from differences in opportunity costs. Specific examples from actual economic situations are used to illustrate and reinforce the principles involved.

Through my classes, students are armed with economic theories and real life examples, and are able to link the academic concepts with real life situation and thoroughly understand and capable of explaining how the financial crisis in Spain will affect the price of olive oil in your local supermarket!  My students are well positioned to enjoy a successful more advanced learning experience in college!
